The role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial solar projects across the UK. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
In this Role you will :

• Lead the delivery, of renewable energy projects delivering a range of scopes through project EPC stage.
• Implementation of all approval and planning steps to attain construction readiness of PV-Plants Coordination of the construction planning, material procurement, awarding of construction contracts and the constructional implementation
• Managing Installation Projects for Commercial PV across the UK ranging from 100KW up to 1MW+ for larger installs.
• Mainly supplying to Retailers, Commercial Sites and Manufacturing Sites,
• Projects will last between 1 week for smaller KW installs, up to 8 weeks for the larger 1MW+ installs.
• Regional Project Managers will be reporting in regularly

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial solar projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, preferably in commercial solar projects.
• Strong understanding of solar technology, installation processes, and industry regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required

Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: United Kingdom (UK Coverage) - based at home with 50% site work
Salary: £75,000 per annum + bonus + benefits

role to RECenergy - my client is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to oversee all UK Solar projects.

The role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial solar projects across the UK. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
In this Role you will :

• Lead the delivery, of renewable energy projects delivering a range of scopes through project EPC stage.
• Implementation of all approval and planning steps to attain construction readiness of PV-Plants Coordination of the construction planning, material procurement, awarding of construction contracts and the constructional implementation
• Managing Installation Projects for Commercial PV across the UK ranging from 100KW up to 1MW+ for larger installs.
• Mainly supplying to Retailers, Commercial Sites and Manufacturing Sites,
• Projects will last between 1 week for smaller KW installs, up to 8 weeks for the larger 1MW+ installs.
• Regional Project Managers will be reporting in regularly

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial solar projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, preferably in commercial solar projects.
• Strong understanding of solar technology, installation processes, and industry regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required
